Li's Bookstore

Welcome to Li's Bookstore! As an added service to the visitors of my web pages, I have opened this site in association with Amazon.Com. I often get requests for book titles that can be helpful, or inquiries for books to try, so I thought it would be easy for all of you if I listed them here. If you have ever bought books on the net, you know that Amazon is the place to go, so they make a fantastic partner.

These books are for sale, often at discounted prices, from Amazon.Com. You can order them directly from these pages, however. I have chosen Amazon as a partner because of their stellar reputation and their awesome customer service. You can choose from a variety of shipping plans, and if you receive a book damaged or you decide you don't like it, you can return it within 15 days for a refund.

Amazon uses secure servers to place orders so that your credit information will not be in jeopardy. If you are nervous about using your credit card over the net, they will accommodate you by letting you phone or fax the information in after you have placed your order. You can also pay by check!

Prices are not included on my pages because of the fluctuations in price at Amazon. When you follow the "Buy the ..." links, you will be shown the current price at the Amazon site. Remember to use your back button to return here after you place an item in your shopping cart. When you are done shopping just press the "checkout" button on the Amazon page. If you are on these pages when you are done, follow any link to the Amazon pages and press the "checkout" button when you get there. It's really quite easy.

I have titles listed below that I think visitors to this site will find useful in their search for knowledge about Hodgkin's Disease, Survival of Cancer, and so forth, as well as some titles I have enjoyed that might help you forget about everything for just a little while. (And I should know: I went on a $400 shopping spree when I was first diagnosed!) If you know of a title that you think should be included here, please use the e-mail link below to contact me and let me know about it.

If you know someone with cancer, consider buying one of these books as a gift. Amazon can send the book directly to your loved one with a gift card enclosed. I have included audiotapes whenever they are available as many patients find it comforting to listen to a novel while they are receiving treatment. It also is easier than trying to keep your eyes focused if blurred vision is one of your side effects. They make wonderful gifts.

The links below will take you to a further description of the book, including authors name and publishing date, number of pages, and a short review, or directly to the Amazon site if there is not a review yet. If there is a review and you decide you want to purchase the book, that page will also have a link to the purchase page at Amazon. You will need to use your back button to return to this site to continue browsing the titles I have made available to you here. When you are done shopping, press the "checkout" button on the Amazon pages and your order will be tallied and you can enter your payment information. If you have any difficulties please let me know, and check back periodically to see what's new!

Happy shopping!
