I bought this book when I was already done
with treatment. It is new this year, and it includes information
not only about treatment and information about the kinds of cancer,
but also gives references to online support, discusses how to
live with the cancer and its side effects, and has a good section
on children and cancer and AIDS and cancer. It's most valuable
tool, however, is the extensive appendix on resources. Support
groups, clinical trials, cancer centers, etc.
