What this module does:

This module allows you to accept quote requests for your product or service. Typically, your standard hard copy forms for quotation requests are used as a guide and converted into electronic format. This form is presented to the users of your website for data entry. The completed form is then emailed to your email address for processing. A database of the contact name and address along with the actual quotation request submitted is stored in a log file for future review and retrieval. Security:

There are several security options available starting from encryption of the data file to password protected and secure retrieval of the quotation request from our servers. If desired, the actual quotation form the user fills in can be placed on a secure server ( httpS:// ) instead of the standard internet connection ( http:// ).

Customization:

The module can be customized with many differing features including: a) Notifying your pager or text enable cell phone of a quote request. b) FAXing the quote to your firm c) Automating the quotation process so that an immediate price is sent for the quote via email to the requestor. Deltronix Enterprises would also program a custom pricing module to respond to the quotation. d) The quote request data can be converted into a file which can be imported into your existing company programs ( to save typing and data input ). e) The quotation form on your website could be password protected so only specific customers could access the quotation form. f) An acknowledgement email message could be sent to quote requester containing the verbiage you desire. g) Each quotation request can have an assigned tracking number for follow-up. h) Copies of the quote request could be forwarded to one central processing point along with the local salesman or other contact point based on the criteria you select (zip code, state, etc.) upon submittal from the web site.
