Email, Mailing Lists, Anti-Virus Scanning, Stopping SPAM

Deltronix Enterprises E-mail Servers are configured to allow you to pickup your mail via one of the ‘standard’ E-mail programs such as Outlook Express or Eudora (highly recommended) or via Web Mail using your browser.

Basic service consists of 5 E-mail addresses, which maybe used to pickup mail directly from our servers or forwarded to your personal E-mail account. Mail that is not directed to one of the E-mail addresses in your domain name can be forwarded to the specified address of your choosing. For instance, you select 5 E-mail addresses for your firm which are JohnB@YourCompany.com, PeterV@YourCompany.com, sales@YourCompany.com, info@YourCompany.com and technical@YourCompany.com. If mail arrives for mail addressed to HumanResources@YourCompany.Com or AnyOtherName@YourCompany.com it could be forwarded to your personal E-mail account, or if desired one of the 5 specified E-mail addresses for your company.

Even if you have an AOL/Earthlink etc. account, once your computer is connected to the internet you can invoke one of the standard E-mail programs or use Deltronix Enterprises Webmail to retrieve your mail directly from our servers. Webmail also has the nice ability of allowing you to use a browser, at any location that is connected to the Internet, to access your E-mail. Deltronix Enterprises Webmail is full featured and similar to other services such as Hotmail or Yahoo. Ask for a demo!

Our E-mail servers have the ability to handle thousands of accounts for your domain name. We presently process tens of thousands of messages to our accounts daily.

You can help prevent hackers from accessing your private company network by using the ‘outside’ mail server at Deltronix Enterprises. If they chose to target you firm, they are in fact attacking our highly secure server, which is backed up multiple times per day for additional safety. This is also true when outsourcing your company's website to Deltronix.

Customization:

There are several customization services available. A) Your server can be configured so that each and every message that passes though the server can be copied to a log file for future reference. B) The webmail interface can be customized with your companies name and logo. C) A Secure ( SSL ) connection can be used for E-mail processing. D) A listserver can be configured to maintain a list of E-mail addresses consisting of your customer, employee or other group . This allows you to send one message that is then ‘echoed/copied’ to each member of the list. This is an excellent and efficient way to keep in contact with your users. This list could also consist of all the users who have contacted you through your Deltronix Enterprises managed website and have specifically asked to be placed on your mailing list. E) Virus Scanning of Incoming and Outgoing E-mail. F) Anti-Spam Scanning. Deltronix Enterprises can also pre-process your email, preforming scanning and then sending the mail to your own in-house email server.
